AML audits – more than a regulatory requirement
The SRA expects law firms in scope of the money laundering regulations to undertake regular independent audits. These reviews provide objective assurance that a firm’s AML framework, including its policies, procedures, FWRA and ongoing monitoring, is properly designed and applied in practice.
As regulatory scrutiny continues to increase, gaining a clear picture of your compliance position has never been more important.
